Until 30th May 2019 you can build larger than usual single storey rear extensions to your property under your permitted development rights. The neighbour consultation scheme enables the possibility of building an extension of upto 8m on a detached property or 6m for an attached property.
Notification of a Proposed Larger Home Extension…
To qualify to build your Larger Home Extension under your permitted development rights, you must prepare drawings to demonstrate that the maximum height and depth of your proposed extension shall be within the limits of the larger home extension permitted development allowances. These drawings are then submitted tyo your local planning department to form part of your Larger Home Extension Notification.
